Aida -

Enjoyed it!

BTW, How is Wayne related to Young (The Shack)? Just curious...

Bino, it's a fascinating story.

Wayne had met Paul a couple of times and Paul sent him the manuscript for the book. Wayne was immediately captivated, got some friends involved and they began trying to get it published. When every publisher turned them down, they decided to start their own publishing company to publish and market the book. Wayne is one of the publisher and they now are working to open the market for other books that would appeal to believers who are out of the mainstream.

That's an incredible story! WOW!
And that partnership has now printed 5 million copies of 'The Shack'... I think that's what happens when people step out of their comfort zones.

Bino, since I've been part of Wayne's Lifestream family for a number of years, I knew about the book long before it was officially published as he would give us details.

The neat thing is that most of the first books were sold because of Wayne's two websites since all of the earlier purchasers were members of Wayne's websites. They bought their own copy and then turned around and ordered cases of books to give to their friends.

It's been exciting to see how it has all developed. It really is an amazing story. I don't believe the three of them realized what great things Father had in mind when he sent Wayne the manuscript.

Now that just might be the understatement of the year Aida.

You are absolutely right.

It's been so much fun being involved.

I believe you're right, Kent. I'm constantly amazed at what great things Father can do when we take our little steps of obedience.
